About:China Visa Exemption

One question, 24 hours transit visa

we are Philippine passport holders and are currently in Europe but want to transit in Shanghai the way back to Manila. Is Shanghai possible for transit within 24h? Could we leave the airport during the day as long as our departure to Manila is within 24h? Thanks for any advice.

You could apply for 24h twov in Shanghai. Shanghai no longer allows people with layovers for less than 24 hours to clear immigration regardless of nationality. In some cases, people were let in when they showed their hotel booking confirmations. So you can have a try by showing hotel booking confirmations.
