I am a female rat and my boyfriend is a rooster. We barley get along for more than 5 minutes.

Is there any chance of our fighting to stop? Or is there any chance of us being together forever? We were together for almost a year but it got so bad I left him and we went our separate ways for a month. Now back at it and it is the same crap happening all over again. He's threatened to end our relationship multiple times... Should I just let him and move on?
