flight from guangzhou to haikou

Question

Hello,Does my first immigration to china need to be at one of the ports of hainan? Or is it possible to fly to any other city in China, immigrate there and take a domestic flight to hainan?Another option for me would be to book a flight from Europe to Hainan via Guangzhou. Would it be possible to stay in transit area in Guangzhou and get the 30 days visa in Hainan then?Please answer for both of my possibilities. Thanks a a lot in advance.

Both ways are available, you can choose either one. But if you choose the second one, you do need a visa. Meanwhile, you can only get the 30- day visa in Hainan area.
