About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am an Indian Passport Holder living in the US under a H1B/H4 Visa

Hello Folks, I am an Indian Passport Holder (Indian Citizen) living in the US under a Valid H1B/H4 entry permit I am visiting India briefly and I wish to visit Shanghai for 48 Hours on my way from India to the US. Can I avail the 72 Hour Transit? Will I need entry permit for those 48 Hours?

You are not eligible for 72/144-hour TWOV because of your nationality. You need a transit visa prior to traveling.
