About:Transfer at Shanghai Maglev Stations

From Pudong airport by subway to Dashijie: long distance walk to change from line 2 to line 8?

Hallo,
We arrive at Pudong airport early morning on wednesday 5 september.
I need to make a choice for our hotel. Our prefered one is Hao Du Hotel near Dahijie subway station.
We will have a backpack and a big suitcase on wheels. How far is the distance between platform line 2 people's square arriving from airport and platform line 8 to depart to Dashijie?
Do we need to climb or descend steps or os there an escalator?
If too long or difficult we need to take our 2nd choice Chunshengjiang Hotel at 10 mintes walk form subway People's Square station

It’s about 5 minutes’ walk. You can also choose to take the shuttle bus line 5 to East Yan’an Road Middle Zhengjiang Road and walk about 300m to get there. If you go by this way, you don’t need to transfer.

Yes, it is pretty close, only about 300m from the hotel.

Hallo Luna,
Thanks for your reply!! Does the shuttle bus stop at East Yan'an Road near to Dashijie ? Middle Zhejiang Road is from from Dashijie.
Our hotel is Hao Du Hotel address No41 Guangxi South Road Huangpu

Is there not very heavy traffic at 8 am so that it may take mire than 2 hours to reach?

Generally, it takes about 1 hour to get. If you meet a heavy traffic, the time will be longer but I guess it will be less than 2 hours.
