About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Do I need a Chinese Visa, I land in Beijing by air

on 4th Oct 15.50 and I leave on 7th Oct by cruise ship Tianjin Port
I have looked on the Chinese entry permit website but it is unclear if i am covered by the 72/144 free transit. How can I get confirmation of what I need?

If you are flying/traveling Country A - Beijing and Tianjin - Country B then you can enjoy 144h twov. No visa will be needed. Nice trip.

After arriving at Beijing airport, you can go to the transit counter to apply for the 144 hour free transit by showing passport, and onward tickets.
