About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Travelling from Tokyo to Hongkong via Shanghai

I intend to travel from Tokyo to Shanghai, where I want to stay for 48 hours, and then on to Hong Kong. Is it OK to use the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai for this trip?

You can enjoy 144hr free transit in Shanghai by traveling like that.
