72 hour rule for Beijing

I am travelling from UK to Hong Kong via Beijing and have 72.5 hours based on scheduled arrival time and departure time. If I am at airport 2 hours before my departure time would it be 70.5 hours therefore I will not need a visa..

David, you can enjoy 144 hr free transit in Beijing in this trip. No need to worry.
