About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying from Malaysia then Shanghai back to Malaysia

Hi. I'm holding a canadian passport. I'm flying to shanghai on 22nd of June from Kuala lumpur then returning to KL on the 25th. Am I still qualified for the free transit since I'm flying point a-b and vice versa?

That's not a transit so visa-free transit obviously doesn't apply. You need a visa or different flights.
