flight from hkg airport

My Chinese girlfriend and i will, want to Travel by ferry on the 19th of june from Fuyong to hkg Airport.Her VISA Starts up on 20th of june until 15th of July, but we must go to the Airport on 19th in the evening, because our flight with emirates will Start shortly After Midnight 12.35 am on 20th of june.1. is this possible for her to go on 19th of june, our must she prepare somethings?2. is is possible for us to give up our lagguage in Fuyong for this Trip to hkg ?Thank you for helpingBest regards Marc

1. If your girlfriend has Chinese passport, she can go on 19th of June to HK airport as long as she has valid Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao. 2. If you want to know more about the luggage issue, please contact with the airlines to ask if your luggage will be delivered to the final destination directly. If yes, you don’t need to claim it.

There is no need to hold a two-way permit as long as she holds evidence of traveling to a third country within 7 days. HK immigration does not and will not be responsible for document checks at the port of entry. As for luggage, you most likely need to go through immigration and re-check them when checking-in, but the airline has the final say. AFAIK Emirates does not operate a check-in counter at the ferry terminal.
