Zurich (Switzerland) - Shanghai - Osaka (Japan) - Beijing- Zurich

Our flight plans are...
we are flying Zurich-Osaka via Shanghai, i think we (we are holiding Swiss and Japan passport) are allowed to use 144 hrs visa-free transit policy.
I am flying back from Osaka-Zurich via BJ and we are allowed again to enter china without visa.

My question is "Are we allowed to use 144 hrs visa-free transit 2 times?"
