About:China Visa

Visit to Shanghai. I am an Australian

currently living in HCMC, Vietnam. I would like to visit Shanghai and go using the 72 free process. Is this possible if I buy a return ticket direct from HCMC to Shanghai?

Your travel route HCMC-Shanghai-Australia will be fine for the free transit in Shanghai. Don't worry.

You must be traveling to third country. Vietnam > Shanghai > Vietnam > XYZ, is not allowed and full visa would be required.
