About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai 144h visa (confirmed tickets with seat)

Dears Sirs,

me and my wife will fly to Shanghai and will arrive there on the 09.11.18 late evening and want to use the 144h transit visa regulation.

We intend to fly from there to HongKong with HongKongAirline on the 14.11.18.

As I heared today it is only possible to use the 144h transit visa if we have on the arrival time in Shanghai not only the flight ticktes, we must also have the confirmed seats.

Therefore it is only posssible to check in on most Airline website earliest 48 hours before the flight, who does that work?

Do you have any advice?

You just need confirmed tickets. The “confirmed seat” thing is about preventing people flying standby.
