About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour free transit: Return flight is via airport I came from. Thanks for your help

I will fly from Seoul to Shanghai on 25th June.
I depart from Shanghai on 27th June to go to London but travel via Seoul to transfer planes (same airline and baggage will be checked through to London).
Does this still count as going to a different country, i.e. the layover in Seoul won't matter?

You do not qualify for transit without visa. You must either change your flight or have a Chinese visa.
