Can we use 144-Hour Visa for Shanghai cruise arrival, 3 nights, and air departure non-stop to U.S.A
My wife and I will be arriving in Shanghai, China as tourists disembarking from a Celebrity Cruise Line ship (the Millennium) at the Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal (1 Baoyang Road) at 7 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018, We will leave Shanghai on Tuesday, October 31 on United Airlines Flight 199 at 8:25 pm from Pu Dong (PVG) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in the United States. Will we need a visa? Or can we apply for the 144-Hour Free Transit in China?
If we can use the 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit in China, I have the following questions:
• Where can we find the 144-Hour Free counter or office at the Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal where we can apply for the 144 stay permit? Will it be open on Saturday mornings at 7 am?
• My airline ticket is electronic. The airline does not issue a paper copy. Will it be sufficient if I have a paper copy printout of our electronic ticket?
Thank you.
