About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

travel to tokyo

Hi,
Im flying from JFK new york to Tokyo haneda, but stop in Beijing PEK with a 4 hour layover. Im not planning on leaving the airport, just connecting to my next flight. Do I need a visa to go through Beijing in order to board the plane to Tokyo?

No. You can enjoy 24 hr direct transit in Beijing. No visa is needed.
