About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I am Canadian and flying from Australia back to Canada with an 8.5 layover in Guangzhou.

Do I need a visa to leave the airport to go shopping?

No visa is needed but you need to apply for a temporary stay permit to leave the airport.
