About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Travelling to Beijing from HK then to London but with change in HK

Hi, I'm spending a week in Hong Kong with my family then travelling onward to BJ to visit a couple of friends on my own. I'll be in BJ for 4 nights and will then fly home to the UK (London) BUT on the journey to London I change planes in Hong Kong (a one hour changeover). Will this prevent me from obtaining a 144 hour transit visa?

Sorry to tell you the policy can’t work in that case.
