About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 Hour Rule eligibility. I have a US passport.

I will be flying from Hong Kong to Beijing on May 29th. Then flying from Beijing to Shanghai on May 31st. Then ultimately flying from Shanghai to Tokyo on June 3rd. Am I able to travel using a 144 hour rule visa?

No. Two stops limits you to 24 hours. You need a visa or new flights.
