About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Canada - Guangzhou - Japan / Return

Hi.

I have a Canadian Passport. I'll be travelling:

- Canada to Japan - with a 4 hour layover in Guangzhou.
- Japan to Canada - with a 23.5 hr layover in Guangzhou.

Do I qualify for the 24-hr free transit for this trip?

Hi, you qualify for the 24-hr free transit twice for this trip. No visa is needed.

Thank you. With this 24 hr free transit, would I be eligible to leave the airport to sleep at a hotel for my layover.?
