About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

I have a flight from Guangzhou to Japan.

I plan to travel from Hong Kong to GZ via train within 24 hours before my flight- is this applicable to a transit visa? Would I be applying to the transit visa at the train station when I get my train ticket? Thank you in advance.
