About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

BOS to PEK and back

I am flying from the United States to Beijing via Dulles with 2 days in Beijing. I then have a flight to Japan, then back to the United States. With just about 40 hours in China, all in Beijing, will I need a visa?

If your flights are USA-China-Japan-USA then you don't need a visa.
