About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

U.K. China question

Hi,

I’m from U.K. traveling to shanghai then Tokyo. My lay over time in shanghai is 20 hours so will stay one night. Then 2 weeks later I will be flying back through shanghai from japan. My lay over time is 5 hours. Can I obtain this 144 hour visa twice?

Thanks,
Greg

You don't need a visa. You qualify for 24 hours transit without visa each time.
