About:China Visa

Canadian permanent resident entering Hong Kong

Does a Canadian permanent resident with a PRC passport require to apply for a visa to enter Hong Kong or a Canadian PR card will do?

S/he needs a HKSAR entry permit which can be obtained from a Chinese embassy or consulate.

However the permit is not required if the said person is in transit to a third country or region (including Mainland China) and the stay is less than 7 days.
