Malaysia - Shanghai - Australia

If I fly from Kuala Lumpur to Australia via SH where I will stay for business meetings for 3 days and depart within 72 hours do I qualify for the 72 hour visa free? I cannot apply for a visa as I'm not in Australia at present.

So you are Australia passport holder? If so, you certainly qualify for the 72 hours visa waiver. The visa is not needed. Relax!
