About:China Transit Visa

Inquiry for transit visa

Im a Philippine passport holder! I want to explore Shanghai for less than a day. My flight will be from Seoul - Shanghai - Manila thru different airlines booked separately. Will I be qualified for transit visa?

Your travel route is eligible for the 24 hour direct transit. But someone points out that "Since February, Shanghai no longer allows people with layovers for less than 24 hours to clear immigration regardless of nationality. In some cases, however, people were let in when they showed their hotel booking confirmations." Maybe you need to apply for a transit G type for that in advance.
