About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

144 hour visa. Hi we are flying from LA to Beijing on air China.

We are staying one day in Beijing and then using a different airline, air Asia to fly to Bangkok. On the way back we are using air China from Manila to beijing for three hours and then back to LA. Can I use the 144 hour free transit?

i've done the 72 hour free transit twice. You will be able to use the visa, when you leave the country to go to Bangkok (where I live), the transit (72 or 144) will be finished. On your way back starting from Manila, if you want to go out of the airport, you'll have to wait in line again to get the stamp

by the way, go to the Great wall, it will cost you about $100 USD to rent a taxi for the day.
