About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Extending your stay in Beijing for 72 hours.

Hi,
On the 12 May, 2018, I will be travelling back (return journey)from Auckland, NZ, arriving in Beijing on the 13 May.for a Stopover before travelling back to London, U.K via Beijing, China. I want to extend my stopover in Beijing for 72 hours. So as to depart Beijing on the 15 May, or 16 May at 17.00 P.M.
Can, I request, the 72 hours extension, after arrival in Beijing Capital Airport. ?

You need to present the confirmed onward ticket (Beijing to London) when you check-in at Auckland, and also when you arrive at Beijing.

There´s no 72h twov anymore in Beijing, it´s up to 144h now and you can stay 6 days if you wish.
