About:Japan Airlines

I am flying from SFO to Beijing Capital for transit to BKK (Bangkok,Thailand)

I have 1hour and 40 mins for layover in Beijing airport. I was wonder that should be enough time for me to do the Immigration and Custom to catch connecting flights to BKK?

May I know if the transfer will be finished in the same terminal? If so, 1h and 40min can be generally enough. But it is too limited if the transfer is in different terminals. Then you have to change your onward flight.
