Can I bring my prescribed medication of Adderall (amphetamine)?

I take Adderall (an amphetamine) once a day for my condition of narcolepsy. I am reading that amphetamines are not legally prescribed meds in China. Can I bring them legally for my personal use, only the amount needed for my trip, in the prescription bottle? If so, do I bring this in my carry-on and declare it? Thank you.
