About:Chinese Embassy in Ghana

I planned to travel to china and visit Shanghai and Nanjing but I keep on seeing invitation letter.

Does it mean that I cannot visit the country if I don't have invitation letter.

Yes, the invitation letter is necessary. You can find a travel agency to help you with that.
