can i exit china with no residence permit after 30 days?

Hello,I am currently on student X1 type and I have been in China since the end of august. I have been living on campus and this means that the school is supposed to apply for Residence permit in my case (According to the local police) I didnt really know what that means I simply thought it is some formalities in the system and not an actual paper in the passport. So I guess the school either forgot to inform me about a ready RP or forgot me. Will they let me leave China without it and allow me to make new visa?Thanks

Anders, sorry to hear that. You are advised to go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to inquire about that. I think you can leave China.
