About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK national flying bangkok, thailand to guangzhou for 3 nights.

Wanting to see if can use the 72 hour transit visa. Assume have to fly to another country after china and not return to thailand to qualify for this ?

Yes, you cannot fly back to Thailand if you want to use the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou.
