Visa required for stop over?

Hi,

My friend and I are travelling to Russia from Australia and will be stopping over in Beijing for both stops. Our first stop over is for 8 Hours and our return stop over is scheduled for 12 hours. We wish to exit the airport and see the town but is unsure if a Visa is required. Can you please advise, thanks.

Tiep, no, no visa will be needed for that. You can use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing in both directions.
