About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We will be traveling USA to Shanghai, Shanghai to Tokyo

We traveling USA to Shanghai staying 5 days after Shanghai to Tokyo straying days in Tokyo and we going back Tokyo to Shanghai staying 4days and we coming back to USA, Do we need visa? We traveling with Hungarian and USA passport.

Hungarian and US passports are eligible for the 144 hour free Transit in Shanghai. So as long as you don't go over 144 hours (to the minute) you are fine. You can do it on the way to Tokyo and another 144 hours on the way back.
