About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying into Shanghai to join a cruise.

I will fly into Shanghai the day before embarking on to a cruise ship which will then sail the next day to Xiamen followed by a departure from there on the next day to cruise to Tokyo. Will this be covered by the 72-hour Visa-free Transit?.

Wayne, no, this is not covered by the 72 hour free transit. You need to apply for a transit visa in advance.
