About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Passport validity six months rule in 24 hours transit

Hello:

I need to know if my passport could has less than six months validity, if I stay less than 24 hours transit in Guangzhou city.

Hi, maybe you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou if you don't leave the airport. You can call the Guangzhou airport to confirm this. TEL: 020-36066999. Good luck.

Thanks, but my question is about the passport. Is it a valid passport if it has less than six month to expire? even if I only transit less than 24 hrs. Thank you

As you won't (and can't) be passing through immigration, your passport validity is irrelevant.
