About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visit to Tokyo and Shanghai

Hi,
I'm Swiss and I have in plan one week in Asia. My planning foresee:
- departure from Milan
- 2 days in Tokyo,
- then 3 days in Shanghai,
- trip back Shanghai / Milan.
Can I apply the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai? thank you

Yes, as long as your flight from Shanghai to Milan does not stop in Japan or China.
