About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa Free Wait Time-SH

Hello, I am flying from Jakarta to Los Angles with a 18 hour layover in Shanghai. I want to see a friend in the city during that time. I have heard the line for the Visa Free Transit can be long. Do I need to apply before and is there a way to apply beforehand or reduce the wait time?

Hi, as i know, you can get the result within ten minutes if only few people are waiting there. So you don't need to worry about that.
