Book through online for soft sleeper type, two persons, but separated not at the same bunks, can we request to get the same bunk?

Once the bunk assigned, it cannot be changed unless you change your tickets or cancel it and buy a new one. The other option is making a change with other passengers after boarding. If there is a solo traveler in your cabin, maybe you can make a change.
