HK-Shanghai-Vienna

Hello, I'm from Italy and I'm flying from Kong Kong to SH on January 11 and then fly from shanghai to Vienna on January 14. Am i eligible for the 144 hrs free transit visa? if so, could i also move for a day trip to Suzhou?
