About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arrive by Airplane; Leave by Cruiseship within 48 hours

1. I am Australian Passport holder. My flight from SYD to PVG on Mar 23 18:30. My Cruise Leave PVG on Mar 23 16:00 (within 48 hours duration).
Do I need to apply China VISA??

2. Is it correct there is FREE transit if from airport to cruise within 24 hours?

Hi, you can use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you will go to a third country or region rather than Australia. No visa is required then. Nice trip!
