Yes, your itinerary is eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in principle, assuming that you arrive to Shanghai or Tianjin. Anyway, to be 100% certain about this, here is a couple of conditions that have to be fulfilled:
- Your cruise is not allowed to have its last port of call, immediately before Shanghai or Tianjin, in mainland China
- Your flight from Beijing or Shanghai out of China should not have additional landing of any kind within mainland China and in the country where your cruise will have its last port of call, immediately before Shanghai/Tianjin.
If the above mentioned conditions are fulfilled, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.
