About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

International transit question.

If I travel Melbourne - Tokyo (airport transit 2 hours) - Shanghai 4 days - Tokyo, can I use the 144 hour visa? Thanks.

Free transit do not apply as the ticket will indicate Melbourne-Tokyo-Shanghai-Tokyo
