About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2-stops transit visa / PRC China

24-hour direct transit Portuguese citizen
I go home to Portugal. My flights are a combination of airlines, with a total of 2 layovers and total waiting and flight of 23:20m inside PRC China. 3 legs: HCMC, vietnam>Guahgzhou, PRC, Guahgzhou>Beijing, PRC, and finally Beijing>Lisbon, Portugal. No return flight booked.
Guahgzhou airport: 18h layover. Beijing PEK 2:20h layover. My transit in China is less than 24 hours.
Do i qualify for 24 hours multi=stop tansit in china my flights? Or do i need to get a If so i can just get one on arrival or do i need to get the Chines Embassy, prior?

You need a visa. Transit including multiple stops within China is permitted at Guangzhou only when the first transit point is Beijing.

Thanks for you ultra clear response Edmund. Unfortunately, the travel agent was not decent enough to state it when i asked them to clarify that after buying my flight and asking to cancel it. So basically, the day after buying it, I was denied check-in in HCMC, my 1st leg, thus losing the cost of it, and worst of all, missing my un-postponable meeting back home. Overall, this conundrum basically cost me my lifetime savings too.
I filed a reimbursement claim with KIWI.com (the seller agent which misinformed/mislead me) and am supposed to hear from them within the next 30 days. Hopeless though- once a cheat always a cheat...
Any suggestions/hints as to what steps i should/could take to at least be able to have my consumer rights not so blatantly disregarded?
Cheers you all.
