About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Russia-2 stops- Thailand

My flight is Sakhalin (Russia) - Harbin-Chengdu-Phuket. In China I will stop less than 24 hours. Can I use 24 hours visa-free transit?

Vladimir, of course you can. It is just important for you to properly count your hours spent in China. You have to calculate your entire transit time starting from your scheduled arrival in Harbin, until your scheduled departure from Chengdu. If that is shorter than 24 hours, you are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. Upon your landing in Harbin, you will immediately approach transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit by presenting your flight tickets. This application is for free and you are advised to have your documents as printouts. After your permit is granted, you will proceed to your flight for Chengdu.
