UK passport valid less than 6 months, can I still transit in Beijing?

I will be travelling to UK from Hong Kong and transiting in Beijing (48 hours between flights). My passport has 3 months validity left on it. Will I be allowed to transit without visa, it is clearly stated online that you cannot enter china without 6 months validity, however people on this website have said otherwise.

Many Thanks,

Nick

Nick, 72 hour free transit can cover your trip in Beijing, and no visa is needed then. Personally I don't think your less than 6 months passport will affect that. Don't worry!
