Family on Crew Visa

I (pilot) will fly to Shanghai and enter on (C) crew entry permit. I would like to bring my wife and 2 children for the 7 day layover. Can I apply for a C crew visa for my wife and children? What is the best application procedure?
I will enter on a GEN-DEC with the rest of the crew. Will my family members also need a GEN-DEC?

Thanks for info & advice!

Hi, Daan, you can try to apply for a crew C type for your wife and children. First, prepare the passport and its copy, a completed application form, and 1 passport-style photo, invitation letter and copy of business license from the Chinese inviting organization, working or studying certificate, as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary, and then submit the application to the CVASC.
