Petr, it is immediately visible that you understand the concept, but there is just one tiny detail that you will have to change within your itinerary to become eligible for this visa free transit scheme. So, you cannot depart from Hong Kong to Shenzhen by train because it is not eligible, but you will take a ferry instead. A ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou (a neighborhood in Shenzhen) is eligible way how to reach mainland China from Hong Kong without any doubt. After that you can travel in the way you have planned and finally exit from Shekou to Macau. As you can see, the only difference is taking a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou instead of a train. You can also change your itinerary slightly by departing toward mainland China from Macau and then returning to Hong Kong by train. As you can see, taking a train from Hong Kong to mainland China is not eligible, but the exit from mainland China to Hong Kong is eligible for this particular visa free transit scheme. It is important to have in mind that even before you depart toward mainland China, you will have to have a confirmed ferry or train ticket that you will use to exit mainland China because you will be asked for that ticket without any doubt. In the end, I just wanted to inform you that the day of your arrival in mainland China is not counted against 240 hours (10 days) because the first day or hours, as you wish, starts on a day after your date of arrival. In other words, if you enter mainland China on June 1, the counting of your allowed hours (days), start from June 2 at 00:01 and you have to exit mainland China until June 11 until 24:00. Have a nice visit to China.
