About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144h transit visa question

Flying from Bali to Shanghai 3.11 via Manila. Will have a return 8.11 to Manila and planning to travel around Philippines. Does this qualify for the 144h requirements? Would love to get a visa, but Chinese Embassy in Indonesia only help expats not tourists.. TIA

You cannot fly Manila-Shanghai-Manila without a visa because it's not a transit. You have to fly Manila-Shanghai-another country (not Philippines and not China).

144hr free transit is only limited to concerns passport holders. If you have Philippines or Indonesia passport then you are not eligible.
